The Precision Stand PHS has a fine linear movement in horizontal plane for the purpose of aligning the Alignment Telescope axis/LOS.The Precision Horizontal Stand could be placed on a Honeycomb Table and clamped or could be placed on a flat platform.A Flange (connecting 5&6) is provided to the base of the Precision Stand so that the PHS could be placed on Vertical Pillar stand. Along the axis of the flange the Telescope could be rotated (vertical axis rotation). The Pillar stand has a provision to lift or lower the PHS using two lock nuts to the desired height for the Alignment Telescope axis – Line of Sight. In case you require the PHS axis to be further lowered, you may remove the cross connector (5) and reverse the same and mount it again. In the event to need to raise the height of the axis of the Alignment Telescope beyond the existing limit, you may add a shaft to the flange to suit the diameter of the cross connector.
